Flocking process and anti-static floors

1/ My company has recently adopted the flocking process; it is said to have a significant impact on occupational health, but I haven’t worked with it before. Does anyone know anything about this? 2/ Does the floor in flammable and explosive areas also need to be treated to prevent static electricity? How should this be done? Is applying a layer of paint sufficient?
Has anyone never come into contact with flocked materials?
