Do all of you’s steam drums have chemical dosing systems, and what is the dosage amount?
This post was last edited by liaifeng on 2016-1-21 at 19:30. This should be the standard configuration for a boiler: two chemical dosing tanks, several metering pumps, with the amount of chemical injected determined by the quality of the boiler water and steam!
In modern systems, in order to handle high loads, the steam drums are equipped with chemical dosing units. The amount of chemical added by each such unit must be determined based on the processing capacity of your system, the quality of the boiler water, and the requirements regarding steam quality. It is usually a metering pump, which is adjusted based on the test results of the boiler water
The amount to be added is determined based on the improvement in water quality
How many types of chemicals are generally used in a dosing unit? Our unit needs to add ammonia water, trisodium phosphate, and sodium hydroxide.
Based on the water quality analysis results and the water quality control parameters, chemicals are added.
