When comparing laminated filters and mesh filters with the same precision, can mesh filters achieve the same results as laminated filters? ? As a pretreatment for ultrafiltration. Is anyone using these two? ?
Disc filters with the same precision offer better performance than mesh filters. Over the years, disc filters have been more widely promoted, and they are commonly used in ultrafiltration pre-treatment applications.
The statement above is incorrect; indeed, filters of the disc type offer better precision compared to those of the mesh type. However, the disc-type filters have a more complex structure and higher maintenance costs. For use as a pre-filter before ultrafiltration, the mesh type is preferable. I work on ultrafiltration systems, and I’ve basically never equipped clients with butterfly valves. If you’re interested, I can introduce you to a manufacturer of mesh filters.

What type of mesh filter are you using? Are your expectations very high? This kind of filter also has to be imported; they’re not afraid of the high cost. Our company also manufactures such filters. What was said on the 3rd floor is correct; disc-type systems have relatively high requirements regarding water quality, and they are not recommended for use in situations where water quality changes significantly!
