When more than 10 submersible pumps are used as the water source for a water-source heat pump system, is the attenuation associated with multiple pumps operating in parallel taken into account for those submersible pumps?
I’m not quite sure what you mean by \"attenuation.\" I guess there are two possible interpretations: 1. If the outlets of all pumps are connected to the same manifold, then you need to determine the outlet pressure for each pump through trial and error, in order to achieve a balance between flow rate and pressure； 2. When multiple pumps are operating simultaneously, the water level in the groundwater will no longer remain at its original static level; instead, it will continue to drop until it reaches an equilibrium point, namely the so-called dynamic level. When considering the outlet pressure of the pump, you need to base the calculations on the dynamic liquid level, rather than the static liquid level. Of course, if you consider the water level over the next few years, it becomes even more complicated.

Where does the number 3 for the number of parallel units come from? I think any number of units can be used in parallel; the key is to avoid a hump-shaped curve
