I’m not sure how many towers your PSA system has; normally, purging and pressing are controlled by programmable valves. If the adsorption time is too long, the absorption efficiency decreases. The PSA system in our facility has been in operation for nearly 9 years, and we have not encountered any of the phenomena you mentioned.

At the moment, here we have a temperature difference of 7 degrees between day and night, while the pressure difference remains roughly the same at night. Moreover, the tower’s operating time changes with temperature. Regarding the issue with the tower’s operation, it may be caused by a high nitrogen content in the gas used during startup.
