Seeking information on pump theory*

I would like to ask the experts here: does anyone have any information regarding whether cooling water is required for the pump body, whether pump heating pipelines are necessary, whether a minimum return valve is needed, etc.? I’m also looking for information on the criteria used to select pump materials and a comparison table of cast steel materials, as well as data on the design choices for the auxiliary pipelines of pumps.
