Does the alkaline water washing of straight-run gasoline require a specific level for the alkaline solution?

Gasoline alkaline cleaning certainly has requirements regarding the level of the alkaline solution! Our factory’s gasoline alkaline washing tanks are available in vertical and horizontal types. In vertical tanks, gasoline and alkaline solution are first mixed in a self-circulating mixer before entering the distributor inside the tank. Alkaline slag is removed periodically at a depth of 1.5 meters below the distributor, with the upper limit of the alkaline solution level being 1.5 meters above the distributor. In horizontal tanks, the alkaline solution is forced to circulate using an alkaline solution pump, and its level is maintained between 30% and 40%. In any type of alkali washing tank, it is necessary to control the level of the alkaline solution properly. If the level is too high, alkali can be carried over; if it is too low, the alkali cannot come into full contact with gasoline, which affects the effectiveness of the alkali washing process.
