For C9 hydrogenation, the maximum operating temperature is 350°C, yet the maximum temperature for sulfidation is 290°C. The requirements regarding space velocity are also not fixed, as the exothermic reaction during sulfidation is not significant; in both cases, the circulation rates used for sulfidating these hydrogenation catalysts fall within the normal range for space velocity.
