What are the possible career paths for a process engineer in an oil refinery? Currently, the options that come to mind include technical support for catalysts, operational technical services provided by patent holders (which require a high level of proficiency in English), and consulting firms specializing in process safety management. Due to my limited experience, I don’t have many good options. Moreover, the economic situation has been poor over the past two years, resulting in few job opportunities
