In the pressurized gasification of water-coal slurry, what is the reason for the presence of water in the water gas?
The common causes are as follows: 1. Deterioration of the water quality in the system, with excessive suspended solids. 2. The system’s rapid load increase causes large fluctuations in gas flow. 3. Fluctuations in the taphole pressure difference altered the velocity of the synthesis gas, resulting in temporary water entrainment. 4. The system’s thermal load is too high. 5. Blockage of the rising pipe and descending pipe. 6. The coal quality is poor, with an excessively high ash content. 7. A low liquid level in the gasifier results in poor washing efficiency, which exacerbates water carryover; or too low furnace temperature leads to an excessive amount of fine slag and carbon residue in the system.
