How to start a compressor without a unloader, with the inlet and outlet closed or open
Keep the outlet fully open; after starting the compressor, gradually open the inlet, using the inlet valve to control the compressor load.
For reciprocating compressors without unloading devices, the inlet and outlet are open when the machine is started. Starting method: Before starting, fully open the bypass valve； After startup, gradually close the bypass valve to increase the unit load.
There is no other way but to follow the method above
Keep the inlet valve fully open and the outlet valve fully closed. After starting up, open the vent valve; once the system is operating properly, gradually open the outlet valve and then slowly close the vent valve.
But the operating procedures for the compressor we use state that both the inlet and outlet valves should be closed, while the bypass valve should be opened fully. After starting the compressor, the inlet valve should be gradually opened; once the pressure approaches the specified value at the outlet, the outlet valve should then be opened. Afterwards, the bypass valve is used to adjust the flow rate of gas. Is this correct?
