May I ask how you inject defoamers into the amine solution system there? What equipment and methods? Thank you!
Follow the instructions for the defoamer to calculate the required amount, dilute it, and then add it to the system. Defoamer solution — solvent preparation tank — solvent storage tank, entering the system for circulation. In case of an emergency, it can also be added at the inlet of the tower feed pump, which provides quick results; however, it affects system operation, so its use is not recommended.
I’m doing this without a tank cycle; there should be a process that uses a tank. . Also, adding it at the inlet of the feed pump – isn’t that difficult to operate? Could it flow back?
Our defoaming system here consists of a metering pump, a storage tank, and related pipelines, which are installed on the pipeline leading to the regenerative absorber for injecting the lean solution!
