Are there **standards** for the maintenance of coal-to-methanol plants? How often is maintenance usually carried out? What is the scope of the maintenance?
I don’t think there is such a thing; it mainly depends on the condition of the equipment. Generally, a major repair is needed every 2 years if everything is in good condition, but in practice it’s difficult to achieve that
If that’s the case, a major repair is needed every two years, which seems like a very short period of time. So what are the typical areas that require maintenance? For example, power plants usually have major repairs, medium repairs, or minor repairs.
