Spend quality time with your parents

I was at home during the New Year, and my dad’s stomach problem flared up again; I went with him for a gastroscopy； I heard that the wife of my dad’s cousin has cancer; she probably won’t live past half a year ； Mom’s hands are always in pain, and no illness can be detected. Since I started working, every time I go home I feel that my parents have aged a bit; every time I leave, I worry that they shouldn’t get sick and that it’s enough for them to live happily without having to work so hard! Life sometimes isn’t under our control; we have to strive for our own families, work hard for our dreams, and push forward for our children’s future. But never forget to go home and see the parents who gave birth to you and raised you – you are their hopes and expectations. To borrow Hai You’s words: as long as one’s parents are alive, life still has a place to go; once they pass away, life has only a path back. Wish all parents in the world good health and safety!
