Starting the turning gear enables automatic turning. The lubricating oil is pressurized by a lubricating oil pump; its pressure is regulated by a self-acting control valve before it enters the oil cooler, and then the oil filter. After passing through the filter, a small portion of the oil is used as control oil to supply the governor, quick-shut valves, accumulator, and crankshaft turning device ; The other portion of the lubricating oil, whose pressure is regulated to 0.25 MPa (G) by a self-acting control valve, flows to the bearing lubrication surfaces of the high-pressure and low-pressure cylinders of the turbine and compressor respectively, while the return oil returns to the lubricating oil tank via the return oil main pipe.
I see a turning motor under the control column of the winch; what is that motor used for? I just can’t figure out those oil lines related to the crankshaft turning device
