The main advantages of belt conveyors with large inclination angles: (1) These conveyors have a high conveying inclination angle, which can reach up to 90°; they are thus ideal devices for transporting materials at large angles or for vertical lifting. Therefore, it is possible to save space, reduce equipment investment and construction costs, achieving good overall economic benefits. For example, if a user wishes to lift coal to the top of a silo 20m high, and a conveyor with an incline angle of 45° is used, the length of the conveyor required is only 28.3m (with a horizontal length of 20m) ； If a vertical conveying edge guide is used, then the length of the horizontal machine can be kept within 6 meters. (2) Simple structure. As mentioned earlier, all the main components are compatible with standard belt conveyors, which facilitates use and maintenance. (3) Reliable operation. There are no problems such as chain jamming, chain drifting, or chain breakage that often occur in scraper conveyors, nor are there issues like slipping or bucket loss that frequently happen in bucket elevators. Its reliability is almost equal to that of conventional belt conveyors. (4) Smooth operation with low noise. (5) Energy consumption is low because there is no digging resistance during loading, nor any internal or external frictional resistance from the material during operation. (6) The vertical bender can also be equipped with horizontal conveying sections of any length at the head and tail, facilitating connection with other equipment.
