I want to learn about *moving equipment; I’m seeking recommendations from experts for introductory materials

I have changed careers and am now working in the field of mechanical equipment. I don’t have any prior knowledge in this area, so I would be very grateful if someone could recommend some materials for me, or offer some advice on the experiences and methods used for learning this subject. If there are any introductory materials available, I would appreciate it greatly.

Many of the Q&A guides on equipment technology published by Sinopec Press are organized by category; there is also a book titled “Equipment Selection”. I recommend you take a look at all of them
There are still a great many categories of moving equipment; the poster might as well focus on a specific industry or certain types of moving equipment – having a clear goal will give more motivation to learn :)
I mainly want to study *centrifugal pumps, reciprocating compressors, and high-pressure piston pumps in a systematic way. Could you share any good materials you have?
