As for the specific aspect, we use propylene for cooling
Dry with nitrogen purge, analyze the dew point; no water allowed. Once the dew point meets the requirements, propylene is introduced into the system to displace nitrogen; some propylene needs to be vented during startup in order to fully displace the nitrogen. Centrifugal compressors are easy to operate; there is no significant difficulty involved. The only thing to pay attention to is to prevent the compressor from entering the surge zone. It is also important to coordinate the actions of the propylene user and the anti-surge valve – once the user’s demand for propylene increases, the anti-surge valve should be gradually closed down in order to keep the flow rate at the compressor inlet within acceptable limits.
