Approximate normal vector of the support area A?

What does the last sentence in 10.4.2 on page 93 of GB/T16508.3 for shell and tube boilers mean – that is, that the support area A can be approximated as the line connecting the centers of the circles inscribed within the triangles formed by three or more adjacent support points, as well as the midpoint between two adjacent support points?
The original poster should find some pivot circles and draw them, then connect the centers of those pivot circles, and it will become clear
