Flue pipe connection?

As the title suggests, I would like to install a DN250 exhaust pipeline in the flue gas duct between the boiler outlet and the desulfurization tower. The pressure required is around 20 KPa, and the flow rate is approximately 300 Nm3. I would like to know if there are any relevant design specifications or standards that can be used as a reference The main consideration is ensuring even distribution of exhaust gases within the flue; there is a elbow approximately 3 meters behind the flue connection, and the flue dimensions are 4*4 meters.
What is the purpose of connecting this DN250 waste gas pipeline?
Waste gas containing sulfur dioxide is introduced and treated using flue gas desulfurization.
