How to confirm that the dust collector’s ash has been emptied

Due to the large number of products produced, the powder in the system must be emptied each time a different product is switched to. Currently, emptying the dust collector is done by knocking on the tank several times to shake out all the powder, which poses certain risks. I’m not sure if there’s any good way to visually confirm that it has been emptied
It can be estimated based on the amount of dust!
Some dust collectors have observation ports. I remember reading some operating procedures online that suggested removing the observation port to conduct an inspection; I’m not sure if that is actually done
