Why does the lithium salt solution turn red?

It is now known that the main salts present in the solution are lithium chloride, as well as ammonium ions, hydroxide ions, and iron ions (it is possible that there are also some unknown ions). The solution has taken on a dark red color; could anyone explain what might be causing this? Is there any way to address this issue?
Since iron ions are present, it is most likely that they are the cause. In solutions with high concentrations of chloride ions, trivalent iron ions also exist in complex form; the red color is a characteristic resulting from the interaction of iron ions with certain weak ligands. Conducting a compositional analysis of the sample, especially an analysis of the transition metal composition, can basically help determine the cause.
Is there any way to remove the color? :D
It’s hard to say. If the color is caused by dissolved ions, removing the ions that cause the color is the decolorization process. If it is the color of the suspended particles in the system, filtration or adsorption may suffice.
