For heavy oil streams such as reprocessed oil, slurry oil, and intermediate products, the connections between valves and flanges have been tightened several times to stop oil leakage, but oil still seeps out and drips; it looks very unsightly when oil accumulates in the containers. Disc springs can be added; leaks are usually caused by temperature changes.
Is smoke coming from the leaky area? Covering it with steam should help.
Don’t just consider the gasket issue; also think about whether the flange is open. If possible, tighten the supports a bit more~~
