We have 3 240-ton boilers here, and during each maintenance session, there are always a few coke pieces about 10 cm in size at the bottom of the boilers, along with ash. We’re not sure what the cause is. Please share any suggestions you might have; thank you
Boiler construction errors lead to temperature variations in localized areas
It is suspected that improper short-term operating parameters and poor local fluidization conditions are to blame. Recommendation: Conduct cold-state tests thoroughly and accurately record the critical air volume. Strictly follow the operating procedures during operation, especially before and after ignition and coal feeding, and pay attention to air volume control. Take appropriate protective measures when necessary; wear a long-tube respirator or self-contained breathing apparatus to enter the furnace in order to check for areas where boiling is inadequate or where there are \"dead zones\", and investigate such issues. (When in the cold state, perform the operation of pressing the fire button: quickly reduce the air supply and check whether the bottom layer is even.) Uneven areas are often locations with dead corners; aside from the base material, an inspection should be carried out, such as checking the ventilation caps. )
Is it near the slag pipe? If it is, fluidization may be poor; it is recommended to raise the inlet of the slag pipe by 3 CM
After each shutdown, check whether the small holes in the air caps are blocked, especially in the four corner areas of the air distribution plate. Before starting up, make sure that these holes are unobstructed, and conduct cold-state fluidization tests to ensure adequate fluidization during operation
