I would like to ask the experts: I recall that there are requirements in the standards regarding the anti-corrosion treatment of underground pipelines, something like using four layers of oil and three layers of fabric, but I can’t remember which standard it is. Is this practice still in use today? Thank you!
No need; these days, three-layer PE is more common, and cold tape is also used.
Yes, that’s how the buried pipes in our newly built factory are used: we use 5 layers of oil and 4 layers of fabric for them, while for the fire protection pipes we use 6 layers of oil and 5 layers of fabric.
