How to determine the size of the control valve packing

I know the valve uses V-type packing, but I don’t know its size. How can I find out? ?
Check the instruction manual and technical documents, or call the manufacturer. Of course, the more common approach is to remove the old one. . . .
The packing of the control valve may not be a standard part; it’s best to open it and take measurements.
Check the instructions, consult the manufacturer, or measure the outer diameter of the gland and the outer diameter of the valve stem to estimate it.

Ask the manufacturer for it; although there are standards, I still don’t dare use fillers from other manufacturers in valves that aren’t theirs. Fillers are not expensive; just like graphite gaskets, they can be obtained from the manufacturer. As for size, they are generally about the same size; you can measure it yourself or ask the manufacturer……
