Wuyang Holds Meeting on the Relocation and Renovation Project for Jindadi Company’s 450,000-ton-per-year Ammonia Production Facility Author/Source: Date: 2016-03-02 Clicks: 18 On the morning of February 24th, Wuyang County held the first meeting of the construction command team for Jindadi Company’s 450,000-ton-per-year ammonia production facility relocation and renovation project in the conference room on the second floor of the industrial cluster area. The meeting was chaired by Zhu Junfeng, the deputy county head and executive deputy commander of the construction command team for this project. It is reported that Henan Jindadi Chemical Co., Ltd. has been operating in Wuyang since 2004, and after ten years of working together through thick and thin, it has developed a strong bond with Wuyang. Leveraging the abundant salt resources in Wuyang County, the company uses coal as raw material to produce synthetic ammonia, urea, and caustic soda products. Its production capacity has increased from 100,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 300,000 tons of soda ash in 2005 to 450,000 tons of ammonia alcohol, 1 million tons of soda ash, 1.1 million tons of ammonium chloride, 1.6 million tons of vacuum-produced salt, 200,000 tons of urea, and 45,000 tons of melamine today. Its production scale and energy consumption in the caustic soda sector have made it a leader in this industry in China. The company has invested a total of 4 billion yuan to date, pays around 120 million yuan in taxes each year, provides employment for over 2,000 people, and ensures that employees’ incomes increase by 20% annually. It has made an indelible contribution to the economic development of Wuyang County. As the domestic economic situation becomes increasingly severe and there are higher demands regarding safety and environmental protection, the company, while pursuing its development, has also become aware of the crises facing the entire industry as well as its own shortcomings. To further boost local economic development and maintain its leading position in the caustic soda industry, it has increased investment despite a sluggish market environment. It adopts advanced gasification technologies to carry out the relocation and renovation of ammonia synthesis plants, ensuring that these technologies remain state-of-the-art at all times. This approach aims to achieve energy savings, emission reduction, and clean production, serving as a model for industrial development in the Wuyang area and representing advanced production capabilities and green industrial development. The project plans to invest 3.8 billion, and it will employ a new gasification process instead of traditional fixed-bed gas generators in its construction, to build an ammonia synthesis plant with an annual production capacity of 450,000 tons. At the same time, patented technology is employed to recover excess carbon dioxide gas, along with the construction of a 200,000-ton sodium bicarbonate production facility. After the project is implemented, it will, on the one hand, realize a people-oriented safety concept and create a harmonious social environment ； On the other hand, technological innovation brings about product diversity and reduced energy consumption. Upon completion of the project, the annual total revenue is expected to reach 3.5 billion yuan, generating tax contributions of 260 million yuan.
