There is a loss-in-weight scale in the system, to which material is added through a valve. I want to use AdvanTrol Pro 2.65 to create reports that record the time at which the valve is opened and closed, as well as the weight of the scale during each opening and closing, so as to calculate the amount of material added during a shift. I hope you’ll not hesitate to share your insights.
Assume: the valve tag is DO135, and the weight of the loss-in-weight scale is AI136. During report generation, how should event definitions, time references, and tag references be defined? It is necessary to record the switching time and weight value when the valve is turned on or off.
I haven’t prepared the report yet, but can’t we just look at the trend chart?
