I would like to inquire about online testers for hydrogen gas, requiring a purity level of 99.999% or 99.995%. Which manufacturers offer such devices, what are the models, what is the price, and what are the advantages? Thank you all! !
I’m not very familiar with hydrogen meters used for online analysis, but I helped the original poster find this post in the hope it will be useful. http://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-413424-1-1.html They say that at such high concentrations, it is necessary to measure the impurity concentration. There are many recommendations in this post; I’d like to add that for online analysis, I trust Mettler quite a lot.
To achieve such accurate analysis, chromatography is the only option; thermal conductivity of hydrogen definitely won’t work
Regarding this question, what components make up the medium being tested? This way, we can consider what methods to use for measurement. As for what is mentioned in 2#, for this medium, I think Mettler should not be considered.
The detection of such high-purity hydrogen should focus on identifying impurities; it is not appropriate to measure purity directly. Purity can be determined by subtracting the impurity content from 100%. Please contact huapiaoxu521 (account number 771345) on this forum; they have specialized gas chromatography equipment for detecting impurities in high-purity gases, and they are very proficient in this area. @huapiaoxu521 (No. 771345)
The analysis of high-purity hydrogen requires gas chromatography equipped with an AGC/DID detector, which can determine purities ranging from 99.99% to 99.9999%. If it is online, use an online explosion-proof chromatograph equipped with an AGCDID detector. For such a high level of purity, it goes without saying which company has an advantage – only AGC is capable of achieving it. They wouldn’t allow me to leave contact information; I posted it under @CatalystYisu and it was deleted.
