Should the nitrogen seal pressure at the packing of a reciprocating compressor be higher or lower than that at the packing of the intermediate stage? What determines the pressure generally, and how is the nitrogen pressure adjusted?
Of course it should be higher; for Shenyu pumps, the nitrogen pressure used for packing is generally 0.15–0.20, while for intermediates it is usually 0.05
