The liquid level gauge at the bottom of the distillation column in the catalytic unit often gets clogged and stops working – are there any good solutions?
Don’t all heavy oil glass panels and level gauges come with flushing oil? Don’t you have any?
Even with flushing oil, visibility will still become poor over time. It seems there really is no good solution. . . . .
How is a level gauge designed? How to perform periodic flushing?
Does \"upstairs\" refer to regular manual flushing?
A flushing port is provided at the outlet of the level gauge tube for periodic manual flushing.
Glass plates are not suitable for heavy oil tanks; it is better to use double-flange level gauges, and a flushing oil should also be provided, as otherwise coking or blockages can easily occur, leading to inaccurate level readings.
Using a double-flange level gauge allows the transmitter to be displayed indoors; however, glass panels are used in field applications
The current requirement for tank level gauges is that both on-site level gauges and automatically controlled level gauges must be available.
