How can the coil heat exchangers be protected during the combined operation of low-temperature methanol washing processes at Lind (Dalian University of Technology)? Personally, I think heat exchangers are not necessary; efforts should be focused on the pump inlet and the inlet of the mechanical filter——Lurgi process
We didn’t do anything special regarding the coiled-tube heat exchanger at that time; the main task during the water testing period was to clean the pump inlet filter every day.
Ensure that the pipes leading to the heat exchanger are purged and rinsed thoroughly before starting up the system. During operation, just control the quality of the water used; there is no need to install additional filters, as the passages around the pipes are fairly large.
It is possible to change the precision grade of the pump inlet filter
As long as the preliminary purging is done well, I don’t think anything else is necessary
