Methanol content in the low-wash purified gas

Recently, the alkali degree of the product from our plant’s distillation pressurization tower has been high. It is suspected that methanol present in the purified gas is the cause of this issue. Today, the methanol content in the purified gas was measured to be around 100 ppm. I hope experts can tell me whether this is indeed the reason for the problem What is the methanol content in the purified gas at your factory?

Not high; ours is around 200 ppm
It is normal for purified gas to contain methanol, and this is where the main loss of methanol occurs in the low-temperature methanol washing system.
The target value is generally 50 mg/m3; if it’s higher, it should be possible to separate it at the separator at the inlet of the methanol compressor. It should have little impact on the methanol distillation process; however, the effect of other organic compounds should be considered
