Currently, the refining and chemical industries are in a poor state, with few new projects being launched; however, there are relatively many renovation projects carried out by various companies, including a high number of projects related to the renovation of external pipeline networks. For existing enterprises, special attention must be paid to certain details during the renovation of external piping systems to avoid making the renovation process chaotic. 1. Oil refining and chemical enterprises must establish their own design standards to standardize the design style of design institutes. 2. It is best for a design institute with which long-term cooperation exists to oversee the renovation of the external pipeline network on a continuous basis. 3. It is advisable to rent and install some utility pipelines in the external pipeline network, such as the inlet and return pipes for circulating water, low-pressure steam and condensate water, heating water inlet and return pipes, and low-temperature hot water inlet and return pipes (this facilitates the installation of branch lines later on). 4. The installation of the steam pipeline network (pipe diameter and network topology) should be done scientifically, taking into account both the location of the steam source and the locations where steam is used (too small a pipe diameter limits the amount of steam that can flow, while too large a diameter leads to condensation water formation in winter as well as significant temperature drops). 5. It is best to add layers to the existing pipe rack in one go. 6. If no additional layers are added to the existing pipe racks and instead gate-type frames are used, it is best to standardize their height; the height should not be set arbitrarily. 7. The old pipe racks need to be replaced by new ones, requiring comprehensive consideration of the overall plant layout. I hope the classmates can add more! !
