I have seen that the feedback used in Siemens positioners is of a separate type – that is, a separate position feedback device is sent to the DCS. How is the feedback connected to the Siemens positioner itself, and where are its terminals 61 and 62? It would be best to have pictures.

It’s not just Siemens positioners; many modern smart positioners provide position feedback, usually in the form of 4-20MA signals over a two-wire system. As for where to connect them, it is necessary to refer to the relevant instructions
Depending on the model, Siemens positioners have different wiring methods. Some models feature a single row of terminals, which do not allow for connecting feedback signals; other models have two rows of terminals, with the lower row used for 4–20mA signals and the upper row providing terminals for connecting feedback signals! It depends on the model of the locator!
