Where can I verify the registration certificate?

I have a certification from a chemical engineering program, but I don’t know where to have it verified Some say it’s fake. Also, under the field of study listed on my certificate, instead of writing “chemical engineering,” a slash was used instead. Could it really be fake?

Each certificate has a unique certificate number; you can just look it up to find out. Besides, one surely knows whether one’s certificate is genuine or not. If it was obtained by registering for the exam through official channels, it’s 100% authentic – there’s no need for any verification! The title is already indicated on the cover of the registered chemical engineering certificate; the field specifying the specialty will definitely be ‘chemical engineering’ – there’s no way it will show a slash there. So the original poster really needs to be more careful.
You know very well whether your certificate is genuine or not. Most people obtain their certificates through exams; some are exempt from the basic courses, while others complete both the basic and advanced courses. This experience is surely one that will be remembered for life. For my First-Class Constructor exam, I scored 138 in Mechanical and Electrical Practice, and 160 in Basic Chemical Engineering – scores that are enough to boast about for a lifetime... How could I forget that? A few people’s certificates were awarded through evaluation; it seems that the general requirement is to have graduated before 1982, with a minimum threshold of 1986 in some cases (subject to performance requirements). My master’s qualification was obtained through evaluation; he seems to have graduated from East China University of Science and Technology in 1981 and has been working at a design institute ever since.
