The silencer used for venting steam during furnace drying has been in use for 4 years; now, the noise generated during furnace venting is extremely loud. An on-site inspection revealed that the corrosion has blocked all the air holes in the silencer. What other options are there besides replacing it with a new silencer? Additionally, could we get the design data for purchasing an effective suppressor? We can no longer find our original design data, and without it it’s difficult to purchase such a suppressor. Just create a diagram by yourself and contact someone to fabricate the equipment; it’s a minor issue. It’s best to choose 304 material.
