Where is the “standard” in standard equipment and non-standard equipment?

As the title suggests, during the construction and renovation of chemical projects, which are standard equipment and which are non-standard equipment? What standards do the standards for standard equipment refer to? Please explain each one separately

Standard equipment and non-standard equipment: simply put, the equipment for which design drawings are required by the design institute is non-standard equipment, while equipment that can be purchased simply by specifying a model is standard equipment. I first learned about this because of the different fees for design work; the fee for designing custom equipment is twice as high as that for standard equipment. Standard equipment typically includes organic pumps and heat exchangers, but custom-made heat exchangers are also quite common; towers and tanks are generally custom-designed equipment. The vast majority of other valves and instruments are standard……
The original poster has a misunderstanding; “standard” and “non-standard” do not refer to the standards set by regulations, but rather to devices that come in standard sizes and parameters available on the market. Containers, heat exchangers, reactors, towers, etc., all belong to non-standard equipment.
