Gurus, do you have any data on the specific heat of hydrogen fluoride liquid, the specific heat of its vapor, its latent heat of vaporization, and its association heat? Please share it~
The association heat of hydrogen fluoride is very high; a large amount of heat is required to raise the temperature below 80 degrees. I once used a 600kW electric heater to heat 3000 kg of hydrogen fluoride, but the temperature only increased by less than 20 degrees.
I can’t remember where I saw it, but the specific heat of HF below 80 degrees seems to be around 9.
