Check whether the fixing screws of the belt conveyor motor and reducer base are tight, whether the oil level and temperature of the reducer are normal; verify the position of the switch in the control box to determine whether it is in single-unit mode or interlocked mode, and also check the electrical interlocks when maintenance is carried out locally or centrally. Examine whether there is any deviation in the belt’s movement, the function of the pull-cord switches, the anti-slip devices, as well as whether the idler and drive rollers rotate smoothly. Check whether the lining at the discharge opening is secure, whether there are any foreign objects on the material, whether there is any localized wear on the belt, the stress conditions on the belt guards, whether there is sticking to the drive and idler wheels, whether there are cracks in the belt joints, and whether the material is discharged evenly. Next, I will explain to all users the inspection standards for the reducer, which is a key component of belt conveyors: Housing: 1. The exterior should be clean, free from dust, oil stains, peeling paint, rust, and other such issues. 2. There are no cracks on the surface, and no oil seepage. 3. All fixing bolts are present, ensuring firm and reliable fixation ; Use fixing bolts of M12*60, with a torque of 84 Nm. 4. Vibration measurement should be carried out at radial and axial vibration detection points at the junction between the box and the base, with the vibration amplitude not exceeding 0.1 mm. 5. Radial, axial, and vertical vibration measurements are taken at the input shaft’s vibration measurement points of the housing, with the vibration amplitude not exceeding 0.1 mm. 6. There is no oil seepage or leakage at the end caps, holes, and oil passage sealing areas. 7. The equipment nameplate is in good condition, with no damage or deformation ; And it is clean, clear, and distinct. 8. No blockage in the respiratory pores. 9. The oil level is indicated between the upper and lower scales on the oil gauge. Bearings: 1. The equipment operates without any abnormal noises, with a smooth and even sound. 2. The temperature measured at each bearing location, in the upper, lower, left, and right positions, should be the same and not exceed 65°C. 3. During operation, if it is detected that the temperature exceeds the normal level and continues to rise, the fitter should be notified promptly to conduct an inspection. (Normal temperature: 45°C) Gear oil: 1. The specifications of the gear oil meet the requirements. 2. The oil should show no discoloration, turbidity, water emulsification, or abnormal flow. 3. The oil temperature should not exceed 65°C. Mounting base: 1. The base shows no signs of welding cracks, deformation, peeling paint, or rust. 2. Vibration measurement is carried out at the radial and axial vibration measurement points at the fixed connection of the reducer, with the amplitude not exceeding 0.1 mm. 3. There should be no gaps at the fixed connection points of the reducer. 4. All fixing bolts are present, ensuring firm and reliable fixation ; Fixing bolt M20*90, with a torque of 410 Nm.
