Pressure tapping at the throttle device flange

When purchasing the flange pressure tapping for the throttling device, a 3/4” size was specified, but what arrived was actually 1/2”. The subsequent materials are to be supplied by the client; the pressure tapping stub is 3/4” in size, while the stop valve is also 3/4” in size. Solution 1: Expand the flange pressure tapping to 3/4” size. Solution 2: Add a reducer fitting to the pressure tapping stub to convert it from 1/2” to 3/4”. Which of these two solutions is better? Do the specifications require that the pressure tapping stub not have a changing diameter?
If your manufacturing process allows for socketing, then go with socketing. . . It’s more convenient than changing the diameter. . .
The pressure tapping ports (holes) are subject to precision machining, and their dimensions are checked in accordance with ISO standards; it is recommended that you avoid expanding them on site. The pressure tapping short tube is used for transmitting pressure and can have a variable diameter, while the machining errors of the holes affect pressure measurement—that is, differential pressure measurement. A 1/2\" pressure tap is also sufficient. @jiaguoyun
1/2\" pressure taps are more common, while 3/4\" ones are less so.
