Reducing the reaction between nitrogen and hydrogen and increasing the carbon dioxide concentration alters the reaction equilibrium.
If it’s just about renovation, then yes! But where does high-pressure carbon dioxide come from?
The idea is indeed good, but the nitrogen flow rate itself is too low, so the impact it will have is likely minimal. The high-pressure carbon dioxide mentioned on the second floor is also a problem
It’s not necessary; very little high-pressure nitrogen is used in the pressure tapping tube, so switching to carbon dioxide will have no impact on the balance. If you want to increase the gas production rate, you should focus on adjusting the temperature of the gasification reaction instead. Moreover, if carbon dioxide is used, a compressor must be added, unless the facility already has a carbon dioxide compressor (such as in a urea plant); but what if that urea plant stops operating? )

By modifying the parking process, it is possible to switch back to using nitrogen, which reduces the reaction between nitrogen and hydrogen to produce ammonia, as well as lowering the ammonia nitrogen content in the returned water.
Furthermore, the ammonia in the gasifier is not produced by the reaction of hydrogen and nitrogen; at such high temperatures, the reaction for synthesizing ammonia hardly takes place. Ammonia originates from coal pyrolysis.
There is no need; the amount of nitrogen used in the pressure tapping tube itself is very small. If it’s changed, the investment will be too high. Increasing the effective gas volume can be adjusted through operational means!
Can the syngas produced by the gasifier be cooled and verified before being pressurized to replace nitrogen?
Why is there always a desire to replace nitrogen? Is nitrogen in your factory in short supply? Is the production capacity of air separation limited or something? . . First, replace the nitrogen in the pressure sensing tube with CO2; the amount of CO2 used should be greater than that used for harvesting. Under high pressure, CO2 tends to crystallize into dry ice, so it is necessary to heat the CO2. It is not necessary to use too small a amount of CO2. If there is too much CO2 and it needs to be introduced into the gasifier to participate in the secondary reactions in the combustion chamber, piping can be rerouted through the oxygen pipeline or the furnace top flange to feed the CO2 into the combustion chamber. This option can be considered when a large amount of CO2 is required, but many problems still need to be addressed; it hasn’t been thoroughly considered yet. Using syngas again is also an option, but syngas itself contains a lot of dust, which can easily cause blockages in the pipelines. More equipment is needed, as well as cooling; the amount used is too small and it’s completely unnecessary.
