I have a question I’d like to ask those who use pipes: namely, the choice between old and new grades of stainless steel materials. New stainless steel grades have long been available, such as 06Cr19Ni10 and 06Cr18Ni11Ti; the chemical compositions of these new grades have undergone changes. Then why do many dealers and customers still use old grades like 0Cr18Ni9 and 1Cr18Ni9Ti in large quantities? In terms of cost, the older grades have relatively lower smelting costs; I guess this is the reason. As for whether there are any other reasons, I would appreciate it if you could share your insights.
