Does poor coking maturity have a significant impact on the CO content in dry quenching? When the CO level here is high, the dry quenching plant claims that the coke in the coke ovens is not fully matured.
If the coking is not properly matured, a large amount of CO will indeed be generated further during the coke extraction and cooling processes; however, the nitrogen circulation in the dry quenching system is also important.
