I resigned from my current company (a state-owned enterprise) in March; In 2015, the chemical industry was in a downturn, and the situation for coal-based chemicals was even worse; the company failed to pay salaries on time, and it became impossible to continue working under such conditions. After the New Year, there are various matters at home that prevent me from working properly at my current company. One reason is that it’s far from home; my mother isn’t in good health and I can’t take care of her in a timely manner, which causes me great pain. Before I knew it, I realized that my parents have grown very old ; Secondly, the company has been delaying the assignment of job positions; although I am a technician, I am paid at the same rate as ordinary employees. Additionally, due to the poor performance of the group, there are financial difficulties, and my salary for February has not been paid yet. The various problems in the company made him feel increasingly overwhelmed by his workload, so he decided to resign, to leave the state-owned enterprise and go to a private company located very close to home. There’s no more pension insurance, no more housing provident fund, no more health insurance – but this is the price to pay; I can’t have all the benefits for myself alone. I am a person who cares a lot about my family; I don’t want to miss the opportunity to show filial piety to my parents while they are still healthy and I am still young ; I don’t want to leave my wife alone in our hometown while I am wandering elsewhere. This is my misfortune. But I was lucky too; I came to know about my current employer by chance through a news article, saw the company’s email address, sent my information to that address, and it happened that the boss saw it ; So the boss called to schedule an interview with me. I was surprised; it was a result I hadn’t expected. I never thought that the company, or even the boss, would read my emails, as I had sent my resume to many companies before and received no response at all. Perhaps it truly was fate that connected me to this company, bringing us together. The boss is generous and offers a good salary, so I didn’t hesitate and chose this company right away. Everything new has just begun; I’ve regained the same enthusiasm I had when I first started at my previous job. There might be various problems in private companies, and there may be a big difference compared to state-owned enterprises. But since I happened to come across this company by chance, and it’s so close to home, what is there for me to hesitate about?
With support, that’s great. Everyone has to make different choices at different stages of life; every outcome comes with its own advantages and disadvantages. As long as one follows the choices guided by their heart, they won’t regret anything!
I don’t know how much pension you’ve contributed to the state-owned enterprises; if possible, it’s better to continue contributing. Private companies offer more money, but it’s best to have a pension plan as a backup.
Take the first step, and then it will become* habitual. Wish my brother greater success as he moves forward
