Dear marine friends, may I ask what the situation is regarding the use of wrenches and other tools in your company’s workshops? Did you buy all of them from that brand? The wrenches and similar tools here tend to break easily. Let’s discuss among ourselves whether it’s a quality issue, improper usage, or some other reason.
There are F-wrenches that are made by oneself, as well as those available for purchase; the ones sold are mainly explosion-proof wrenches. This generally doesn’t cause any problems. Penny wrenches generally also have problems. The most prone to damage are pipe wrenches. On the one hand, they are not suitable for applying lateral force when opening and closing valves (copper alloys are somewhat better; those made of cast iron or aluminum alloy are prone to breaking at the sides). On the other hand, the teeth of explosion-proof pipe wrenches wear out easily.
We usually use StarTech, and there are also those from Great Wall
They are all explosion-proof: F wrenches, open-ended wrenches, ring wrenches, adjustable wrenches, pipe clamps, and crowbars. . . . . . They are all explosion-proof
The explosion-proof tools are not durable, especially the pipe wrenches and impact wrenches; I broke two impact wrenches at work.
