Dear teachers, I would like to ask whether ambient temperature has a significant impact on fuel gas pipelines. Currently, there is a large difference in temperatures during the day and at night, so please help analyze this situation

The ambient temperature has little effect on the fuel gas temperature. Are the fluctuations you mentioned pressure fluctuations? You need to consider the source of the fuel gas used in your facility, as well as changes in the calorific value of the gas; it is also related to the amount of gas used by other facilities
The pressure in the fuel gas network at our facility fluctuates quite frequently. Leaving process fluctuations aside, take environmental temperature as an example: the pressure in the network is very low on rainy days. In hot summer weather, the fuel cannot be burned, so it has to be vented through flares, and the volume of gas vented can be quite large. Is it due to inadequate insulation, or are there other reasons? Also, when there is a lack of fuel, how can liquefied gas be used to replenish the fuel supply? Is there a carburetor or some other device that can make liquefied gas vaporize more quickly?
