I have waste sulfur and waste materials with high sulfur content. Incineration requires high standards for boilers, and desulfurization and denitrification are also necessary afterward. I’m not sure if it’s feasible to produce sulfuric acid; the requirements for the acid produced don’t need to be very high, as we can use it ourselves. In production, dilute acids are needed (sulfuric acid, salt acids, *AO acids are all acceptable). Why do many companies that produce sulfuric acid by burning sulfur require such high purity for sulfur?

Hehe, generally, the production of sulfuric acid from sulfur requires a very high purity level for the sulfur, while it’s much less stringent for acid produced from minerals. Of course, it also depends on what impurities are present in the sulfur; if those impurities consume all the oxygen during combustion or introduce other harmful impurities into the system, then it certainly won’t work
There is a difference between sulfur-based acid production and acid production from other sulfur-containing wastes; that is, the raw materials used for acid production are different, and accordingly different processes must be employed
Check for any substances that are toxic to the catalyst

It analyzes the sulfur content in sulfur, as well as impurities and heavy metal components and their concentrations; a low sulfur content is not economical, as it results in no output. Impurities are difficult to handle. Heavy metal components are detrimental to the catalyst and are difficult to handle once they end up in the finished product.
