I couldn’t find the English version of the TENA manual; it seems to be about bypass sealing settings and artificial tubes. There should be pictures in it.
Now I know what a seal trip is, but I really have no idea what a passlane is; this term can’t be found anywhere on TEMA. It’s really strange. .
Passlane Seal Rods: Sealing rods in the partition area, used in the layered partition piping areas where no piping is present, to reduce F leakage in HTRI. Tie rods: Struts that, together with spacers, secure the baffle plates.

The area behind the split baffle generally does not have piping. When the notch in the baffle is perpendicular to the split baffle, an empty bypass channel is formed in this shell-side area, resulting in a short circuit that affects heat exchange efficiency.
