Our company has exhaust gas from a piece of equipment; the flow rate is approximately 300,000 cubic meters per hour. This gas consists of 120,000 cubic meters of water vapor, 180,000 cubic meters of air, and trace amounts of dust (＜30mg/m3), with a temperature of 105°C. Now the customer wants to recover the heat from these exhaust gases. After some initial consideration, I found that the latent heat of vaporization of water is quite high (approximately 98 tons of water per hour). The problem is that if heat exchangers are used directly, what type of heat exchanger can meet such a high processing capacity? A treatment capacity of several hundred thousand cubic meters per hour is quite high. Please recommend from experts! Dude, I’m thinking that a heat exchanger of such a large size definitely doesn’t exist. But isn’t the simplest way of heat exchange direct contact? Dig a big pool, run the gas pipes to the bottom of the pool, and create two openings – one for hot water to exit and one for cold water to enter – thereby circulating hot water to heat other devices
